This video is RIDICULOUS because it sums up a little too much our life. All off-script, including Mable’s screech and my pathetic succumbing to Harris’ begging-for-food charms.
Anna Dell Geckaboom, with my daughter, who is not only an experienced and loving lizard-custodian and would-be herpetologist, but is also getting pretty good at handling crickets as well.
you should! Feed them again and again and again. Love seeing the petsaboom…hogapets?
The little lady and her lizard are a lovely pair. Bugs is fascinated by lizards at the moment but he’ll have to settle for the local geckos we find outdoors. It’s almost gecko season. Lovely little creatures, keep the insect population down for me. They are always welcome on my porch. When I turn the light on at night in the spring and summer the porch ceiling is covered, 30 or 40 easy.
Nessy! It’s lovely to see you.
I would think 30 or 40 geckos would be a bit scary. But I envy you the climate. Or at least I think I do, on our rainy and wet dismal days.
I do feed my cats and it sure shows. They are contented and roly-poly.
We’re on a new two-times-a-day ONLY! feeding regimen with our beast. We know he’ll break us down in the end but it was getting crazy, maybe five or six times including a 4 am wake-up-and-feed-me. A new friend asked if he was pregnant.
I miss you on FB, but twittering more to keep up!
They aren’t scary, probably because they’re so tiny & skittish. They dislike being seen.
The climate is lovely, even the 100+ days are oddly pleasant. I am envious of all of the lush green you have in the PNW though. The grass is greener on your side of the fence 😉
They hunger for innocent blood. Never fall asleep around those things.
@Nessy: the grass is green here indeed. So is the frakkin’ SIDEWALK. Check the picture of my kids I took yesterday, and the moss in the driveway: [ here ].
@Drake: Too bad they also hunger for lots of sleep. They would TRY to go for my jugular, but get torpid and lazy and end up crashed out. (This literally happened with both cats last night!)
