Cabin built by my great-grandfather in 1939.
The Lake was a wonderful temperature and served better than a cup of coffee for waking up.

What gorgeousness! Seriously, the cabin is beautiful on the outside and I imagine it’s just as lovely inside. As someone from where there are many fresh-water lakes and many summer cabins, I must say that this is one of the prettiest I’ve seen in a long, long time. And how cool is it that your great-grandfather built it?? These photos make me miss my home state even more than I already do. Or they make me want to go visit my mom in Maine (not my home state). Anyway, looks like you had a wonderful vacation and now I’ve had a mini-vacation looking at these and daydreaming about vacations past.
“Lovely” inside, I’m not sure. It’s rather cluttered with randomness. But it is certainly a restful and appealing place and I’m grateful for it.
Thanks for the well-wishes!
YOu went on vacation, too! Wheeeeee!
