A couple days ago I got some fabulous news; a client enjoyed the clothes I’d made for her and shipped overseas. This was wonderful; all the more so as the client was a little girl big for her age who wasn’t able to find sturdy and stylish stuff that would fit.
You can see some details of the garments and sewing methods in the Flickr tagset.
I also finished my limón baby bunting (Flickr tagset):
And finally: I’m only minutes away from finishing my latest project. Consider yourself lucky to get a little preview!
Believe it or not I’ve sewn (and knit) a lot more I haven’t shown. Yes, I am a machine. The only downside is the pain in my right arm. Perhaps I should stop cleaning, doing laundry, cooking, driving. Just sew and knit and watch my current TV crush Goren. Aw yeah.
congratulations on all counts!
I think that sounds like an excellent plan. 😉
Talent!
And YES we are very pleased with the clothes for Alma. She went fishing today in her jeans and felt very comfortable in them. Yesterday she went on a night walk with her daddy in a nature reserve (it was a full moon), in her dark green trousers and the hoody she could get very close to the herd of horses who were grazing and she loved it.
Thank you ladies!
@Josh
I hadn’t thought of the camouflage aspect to the greens. The hoodie arms seemed a little short on her – is she liking them OK? I think I like sewing hoodies for children a LOT. That might be my next project, making up more hoodies.
I’m so in love with that bunting! You just don’t even know…. It’s always such a wonderful feeling when a client loves the stuff I’ve made. Lots of warm fuzzies! Congrats!
@Heather
I just wrapped & dropped off the bunting et al to the workplace of the intended mama/family. I hope they like it!
I’m sure they will LOVE it! It’s really beautiful.
Having seen that lemon outfit I must now have a baby. Too precious.
@Alexis
Thank you! I have an “order” in to make one for someone else. Right now I’m finishing some Halloween and fall sewing and some assistance for friends. Trying not to think too far ahead because it can spoil the work I’m doing in the Now.
