RE small stone #14. Tonight as I walked through the field at about, I imagine, the same time, there was a rustle at my feet. It was a moment before I remembered that rustling grass means moving animal. I looked down to see a plump brown bullfrog hop out from my footstep. Stillness. And a hop. And stillness. And then a safe burrowing hop into a grassy tunnel.
