I am rather delighted to be starting out the new year in comfort with two lovely projects: the new Rad Patterns 25K bralette and the DIBY Gabriela onesie! The inspiration for using these patterns came at the suggestion of my beloved Discord member and fantastic sewing machine mechanic @mrdangerfloof, who I’ve often said is the Mayor of Cozytown themselves!
Let’s go in order! The bralette, first:
The Rad Patterns 25K Bralette pattern is a free pattern (upon joining the Facebook group).
To create this pattern you’ll need:
4-way stretch yardage (50% horizontal and 40% vertical) (sewing yardages are on page two of the pattern)
Wooly nylon thread (optional) – to thread in your bobbin or serger loopers
– as well as your tuned-up sewing machine and manual, cutting equipment, pins, needles, and thread! I’ll be demonstrating serger technique, as well as sewing on a regular home sewing machine.
Our schedule! This sew-along is 5 PM Pacific on Monday the 25th, hosted simultaneously on my Bespoke Hogaboom Facebook page and my Twitch channel; they are then uploaded to my Vimeo channel if you miss out!
If you’d like email reminders, go ahead and register!
And now – the onesie!
So if you register for the DIBY onesie sew-along (even if you don’t complete the sew-along), you’re entered into a drawing to win a $50 credit to their shop!
Register (and therefore enter) here!

I won’t be demonstrating all the grading and length alterations, so you will need to have prepared your paper pattern by day 1 of the sew-along.

We’ll see you on the week of the 25th!
* There are three different options for a zipper. I’ll be demonstrating a regular center zipper application. If you plan to install an invisible zipper, make sure you also have the invisible zipper foot.
